Welcome to the Faculty Research Committee (FRC) of the Faculty of Communication and Business Studies, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

The Committee is committed to fostering a dynamic research culture by supporting academic staff and students in conducting high-quality, ethical, and impactful research. We aim to enhance the Faculty’s contributions to knowledge creation, innovation, and scholarly excellence at both national and international levels.

Functions of the Faculty Research Committee

• Promote Research Activities: Encourage and facilitate research initiatives.
• Review and Approve Research allowance: Evaluate proposals and research articles and provide constructive feedback/approved document.
• Support Research Funding: Assist with research grant applications.
• Facilitate Publications and Dissemination: Support faculty journals, peer-reviewed publications, and research events.
• Maintain Records and Reporting: Document research activities and submit reports to the Faculty Board.
