FELZETO’ 2024

FELZETO’2024 a Mini-Market project was organized on 25th March, 2024 by the students of 2021/2022 academic batch (Year I Semester II) of the Department of Business and Management Studies, Faculty of Communication and Business Studies, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka at the Campus cafeteria at 09.00 a.m. This is a project work on the subject of MKT 1013: Marketing Management guided by the subject lecturer Mrs. V. Leninkumar (Senior Lecturer). It was initiated to apply the theoretical knowledge of Marketing Management in a practical setting. By setting up stalls and selling various products including innovative food items, handcrafts, juice items, and beauty products, students not only gain hands-on experience in marketing but also learn important skills such as product promotion, customer interaction, and market analysis. Moreover, engaging in promotion activities within the campus premises demonstrates proactive marketing strategies and enhances visibility and footfall to the mini-market. This kind of experiential learning is invaluable for students as it helps them understand the practical challenges and opportunities in marketing. Presenting their project reports and sharing their experiences further enriches the learning process by allowing students to reflect on their strategies, successes, and areas for improvement. Overall, the objective of the project, “Learn Marketing Management through Experience,” was successfully achieved, providing students with a holistic understanding of marketing principles and practices.
