Footprint Film Screening

On November 7th, 2025, the Department of Languages and Communication Studies at Trincomalee Campus organised a special screening of the documentary film “Footprint” at the campus movie theatre. The event was aimed at raising awareness about humanity’s impact on the Earth, as reflected in the film’s tagline: “Every step echoes through our Earth.”

“Footprint” is a collaborative production by VegVoyages Foundation, Empathy Films, Thrive Grants, Green Pictures, and The Movement Lab. The film, directed by Yoshitha Perera and a team of co-directors, explores themes of environmental conservation and sustainable living. The screening was well-attended by students and staff, sparking meaningful discussions about ecological responsibility.
