The Department of Languages and Communication Studies held its first ever film festival and short film competition “TriFrames 2022” on 26th September 2022. The activity was carried out under the world bank project AHEAD, ELTA/ ELSE Department development project. The film festival held at the main auditorium/ Trincomalee campus and Prof. Mrs. Chandravathany G Devathason, Rector of Trincomalee campus, Rev. Dr. C.P Rajendram, former rector of Trincomalee Campus, the academic, administrative staff members, non-academic and the students attended the film festival. Short listed short films of the students were screened and the winners were awarded with certificates.
